Celebrity Lanes features Nuggets bowling alley and Rocky's Kids Zone

KSE forms partnership with new family entertainment center

Though listed at 5-foot-9, Supermascot Rocky can sometimes appear larger than life as he entertains Nuggets fans of all ages.

That was the case this week as he helped raise a 10-foot replica of himself atop a new family entertainment center in Centennial.

Rocky rode in a contruction cherry picker and served as a construction foreman as the statue was hoisted atop Celebrity Lanes. The 50,000-square-foot facility, scheduled to open to the public in September, includes an interative Rocky’s Kids Zone and a Denver Nuggets bowling alley.

"We are thrilled to bring contemporary family entertainment to the Denver market," Kelmore Development owner Bob Koontz said. "The Nuggets have provided exciting decor and a recognized and respected showman in Supermascot Rocky. As far as we know, the 10-foot likeness of Rocky is the only dedicated statue of a living mascot."

Celebrity Lanes will also feature a Colorado Avalanche bowling area and Altitude Sports Taphouse Grill as part of a partnership between Kroenke Sports & Entertainment and Kelmore Development Corp.

“KSE is proud to partner with Celebrity Lanes to extend many of the KSE brands into this amazing facility” KSE chief marketing officer Kurt Schwartzkopf said. “Both companies are driven to provide families and sports fans the highest quality entertainment possible and we feel that this partnership embodies that mission.”

In addition to 32 primary bowling lanes, Celebrity Lanes will offer outdoor bocce ball and four sports-themed private rooms with four bowling lanes each. One of the private “boutiques” will feature special UV lighting that makes its lanes look like center court at the Pepsi Center. For more infomation, visit www.celebritylanes.com.
